Decisions, decisions! On the left is the first sample, most of which was ultimately used in my pattern. In the middle sample, I tried two patterns for the palm, and even adjusted the top pattern along the way. On the right sample, I tried the zigzag pattern from the second sample with the motif from the first sample.
